Black Rock professionals hold credentials from Six Sigma, INCOSE, PMP, (ISC)², ISACA, EC-Council, Cisco, GIAC and regularly attend Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to train alongside the civilian and military personnel they will potentially serve. Our staff is experienced and some are professionally certified, applying Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and Project Management Professional certifications to complement their Government and industry skills and experience. Our engineers are encouraged to pursue the Professional Engineer designation and to continue to grow in their formal education with our company’s financial support. Within our Information Technology disciplines, we provide tracks for our personnel to maintain or increase their DODI 8570 Level from a Work Force improvement position.

It is not enough at Black Rock to only evaluate potential staff based on formal education or experience. We evaluate their personality, ambition, integrity, and dedication to the craft that they have chosen to pursue. We do 360 degree analysis of past customers, co-workers, and self directed continuing education and interest and training. That is just the first step in the hiring process.
